The Mitchell College of Business Library has been closed during our Interim Session but I, along with another member of my staff, use this time to catch up on everything that we need to do and to prepare for the start of a new semester.
I can hear the band practicing outside, students are moving in and I am seeing students in our hallway wanting to know "is the Library open yet". Not yet but almost!
We will open Monday, August 22nd at 7:30 a.m. and our fall semester hours will be posted on the outside board and on the library website. However, we also have our semester hours on bookmarks we have available in the library and hope you will pick up several when you arrive back on campus.
We will be closed for a short period of time on August 31st for an annual event where we host local CPA firms to meet our senior students. We will post the hours (11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) so you will have plenty of time to prepare plus ensure there is another computer lab for your use.
Other closures will be Labor Day (September 5th), Fall Break (October 2-4) and Thanksgiving (11/23 at Noon but re-open Sunday, November 27th).
Also, note that we will not begin opening on Sundays until September 11th at 2 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
So, this is much to remember so just come get a bookmark and you can enter into your own calendaring system so you are aware of our hours this fall semester.
